Jumper isn't one of the big-name brands, but this laptop gives you a surprisingly decent set of hardware for an extremely budget-friendly price — it's down 65% right now! The Intel Celeron processor is good enough for light web browsing and document work, and you get 256GB of storage and 12GB of RAM. You won't want to use this guy for any heavy-duty work, but it'll work just fine for basic tasks.

Lenovo may be best known for its heavy-hitter laptops, but it makes some great budget ones as well. This IdeaPad 3i is powered by an Intel Core i3 CPU, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. At a 45% discount, that's a surprisingly good amount of power for a machine that should be able to handle most of your daily work tasks with ease. There's even a touchscreen if you want to poke at your display instead of being bound to the trackpad.

If you want something more business savvy, the Lenovo V15 is right up your alley. Available at a 20% discount, this machine gives you a decent set of specs for under $400. The Intel Celeron processor isn't the strongest on the block, but 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage are pretty great at this price. There are also a ton of ports, including HDMI and a dedicated Ethernet port.

I actually just bought the Yoga 9i 2-in-1 to replace my severely aging Surface Pro, and I couldn't be happier. You get a gorgeous 14-inch OLED display and some of the best sound I've ever heard in a laptop thanks to the soundbar hinge. There's plenty of storage space with 1TB, 16GB of RAM that should handle anything you can throw at it, and a snazzy blue color to boot. At $350 off, this is a downright steal.

If white isn't quite your style with the Asus pick above, then this Acer Chromebook Plus 514 is a good alternative. You get a very similar setup with a Core i3 processor, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and t's wrapped in a dark grey shell that should blend in seamlessly at the office or coffee shop.

This guy offers a lot more power and does it in a stylish shell. I've reviewed this laptop and found it to be exceptional at what it does, thanks to a Core i3 processor and 8GB of RAM, both of which handle Chrome OS with ease. You only get 128GB of storage, but you won't find much better for $350 in the Chromebook space.

Budget gaming laptops are always tricky to choose, but getting a chunky Labor Day discount helps a lot. This HP Victus model is $380 off and comes packed with a GeForce RTX 4050 for some serious gaming power. It won't let you run intense games at the highest graphics settings, but it is more than capable of powering indie titles and more at low-to-middling graphics presets with a speedy 144Hz screen.

Acer has some more subdued styling, meaning this Nitro V will avoid standing out while you're in class or at the office. That doesn't mean the brand has skimped on the power, though: a GeForce RTX 4050 and Intel Core i5 processor offer a good amount of oomph to get some light gaming in on the go. With 512GB of storage, you'll want to be careful with how many games you install, but it's enough to load up a few of your favorites.

Dell's G15 takes its styling cues from the PC maker's Alienware sub-brand, so it's a little chunkier than some other gaming laptops. However, that also lets this model, currently at a $200 discount, pack in some solid power and cooling. You'll get a GeForce RTX 4060 GPU, along with an Intel Core i7 CPU and 16GB of RAM. With 1TB of storage, you have lots of storage space for your favorite games too.

This model steps things up with a GeForce RTX 4060 GPU that is more than enough to power the 15.6-inch 144Hz display with great visuals. You also get 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage to take your games on the go. Again, you won't be able to push the most intense titles to their limits, but a discount of more than $400 makes this a seriously amazing option for getting some playtime in between classes or meetings.
